They announce Tchouaméni's departure and the signing of his replacement at Real Madrid

One of the players who has been the least convincing this season has been Tchouaméni. The Frenchman, who was expected to lead Real Madrid's midfield, has been performing at a terrible level. This has led the Merengue team to set their sights on signing a player who has been shining since the last Euro Cup.

Martín Zubimendi is the star the club has chosen to replace Tchouaméni. The Spaniard, who is part of Real Sociedad, has convinced the team that he is the best option. Despite being a bit older, the player has amazed all of Europe with a level that has placed him among the best midfielders on the continent.

However, signing Zubimendi won't be easy for Real Madrid. Between his 60 million clause and the number of teams interested in him, the Merengue team will have to face all these complications.

The perfect substitute

At 25 years old, Zubimendi seeks to continue growing as a player starting next season. After 5 seasons at Real Sociedad, and more in their youth academy, the player is clear about his departure from the club.  Despite the 2,273 minutes he has played, Zubimendi's decision has been made and is final.

Due to this, Real Madrid has seen in the Spaniard the player they need to once again have a dominant midfield. After the disappointment that has been Tchouaméni, the arrival of the Spaniard is a clear sentence to the Frenchman's career.

Even so, the interest from Liverpool, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich could complicate the future of this operation.  With these three teams willing to do whatever it takes, Real Madrid knows they must act as soon as possible.

The summer signing

After Toni Kroos's retirement at the end of last season, Zubimendi has shown himself to be a worthy successor. Without having issues with his clause, Real Madrid is confident in being able to achieve this signing to further strengthen their squad.
