He's Better Than Wirtz and Musiala and Florentino Can Get Him, Bellingham Gives the OK

Real Madrid has a player on their radar, and it's not either of the two German stars.

Real Madrid remains very alert to the market looking ahead to next summer to bring in several reinforcements. The midfield is the area where most doubts are concentrated as candidates keep emerging. Big names to which Florentino has added one more player.

We knew that Wirtz is the big favorite as he is considered the next top-tier for Real Madrid. But it won't be easy since Bayern wants to get ahead to secure his services. Musiala is another one of interest, and his role in Munich could be threatened if Florian arrives.

But the latest name to sneak onto the list of candidates for the midfield is Cole Palmer. The Englishman from Chelsea is shining this season in the blues' resurgence. At 22 years old, he is one of the Premier League's great stars and Bellingham has given good references.

This hasn't gone unnoticed by Real Madrid, which has set its sights on him and isn't looking away. From England, they even warn that the threat is real and that they will go for his signing. He is starting to be a candidate placed better than Wirtz or Musiala to join the merengue team.

Real Madrid Will Face Two Major Problems in Signing Cole Palmer

Despite Real Madrid's interest in Cole Palmer, they will face two major problems. His signing won't be easy as Chelsea won't let their star leave. They will demand a fortune, especially because they don't have financial pressures forcing his sale.

But also Real Madrid will have to sacrifice one of its pieces to make room in the squad. There had been speculation about Tchouaméni's departure, but they don't have the same profile. The Frenchman would leave his spot if a more positional midfielder arrives next season.

Although it's true that Modric's future is hanging in the air and we don't know if he will end up renewing. If he leaves, the Croatian could leave a gap in the squad that Real Madrid will look to fill. We'll see if with Wirtz, Musiala, or if the big surprise comes with Cole Palmer.
