Carvajal confirms 2 unannounced signings, Real Madrid will make it official very soon.

The right-back settles two 'cases' currently handled in the Valdebebas offices

The performance offered by Real Madrid's first team during the current season has been far below initial expectations. Therefore, from the Valdebebas offices, they would have already started a process to make significant changes to the squad's structure and recover the winning path lost this season.

One of the most notable changes would be the arrival of a new coach: Xabi Alonso would be preparing to replace Carlo Ancelotti next Monday, May 26. Asked about this circumstance, Dani Carvajal points out that "it seems that Xabi is the one who will arrive". But it is not an easy moment, as the right-back claims to have "two conflicting feelings" about this change.

"Especially because of Carlo's departure, who in the end has been practically my footballing father. We have won everything with him", clarifies Dani Carvajal about the two stages of the Reggiolo coach at Real Madrid. Despite everything, "I haven't had the opportunity to talk to Xabi" about what he might expect in his tenure as the first team's coach.

He also wishes the best for the "coach who seems to be Xabi". The '2' from Leganés considers that "he will do very well, he is a man who knows the house, he comes from having two fantastic seasons with Leverkusen". Dani Carvajal, like Xabi Alonso himself, has good memories of the werkself entity: after all, the footballer completed his training there before settling in the Madridist locker room.

Unfiltered opinion

Be that as it may, Xabi Alonso "knows what it is to be a Madrid player and I think that is a plus for him, to establish himself as a coach", recalls Carvajal. That could be one of the keys to his success at the helm of one of the most demanding and challenging locker rooms in European and world elite soccer. The hiring of a new coach is not the only move that draws the attention of Madridists.

Also the arrival of a footballer who could compete in the right-back position: Trent Alexander-Arnold. The still '66' of Liverpool is not yet a player of the white team, a circumstance that Dani Carvajal recalls: "it's not official yet, it seems so". Despite everything, the right-back makes it clear that "there is no fear" of the possible competition from the English footballer.

"Here we don't talk about fear, we will be teammates. Competition strengthens both, it makes us bring out our best version of each and all for the team", concludes the Madrid defender. Dani Carvajal offers his particular opinion regarding these two signings about to become official for Real Madrid, almost making their arrival at Santiago Bernabéu locker room official.

They wouldn't be the only changes planned from the Valdebebas offices. The debate about the left-back has simultaneously given way to doubts about the incorporation of a midfielder and the addition of a center forward very similar to Joselu.
