Florentino Smiles, Bundesliga's Gem Closer Than Ever to Real Madrid

Musiala has included two clauses in his contract renewal with Bayern that would allow him to leave in 2028 and 2029.

Just a week ago, Jamal Musiala signed his new contract with Bayern Munich. An agreement that ensures his continuity at the German club until 2030.

The 21-year-old, one of the most outstanding talents in the Bundesliga, was surrounded by rumors. Rumors linking him with major teams like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Manchester City.

Musiala, who scored 15 goals and provided 5 assists in 32 matches last season, has been a key player for Bayern, which currently leads the Bundesliga.

Despite the speculations, the German player committed long-term to the club, which seemed to close the doors to his departure. However, the new contract contains details that could facilitate his future transfer.

Release Clause

According to the newspaper SportBild, the agreement signed with Bayern includes two clauses that could allow Musiala to change scenery in the future. The first, valid for 2028, would allow his departure for a sum of 175 million euros.

Although it seems like a high amount, it is a figure that many elite clubs, like Real Madrid, might consider attainable in the coming years.

The second clause would be activated in 2029, when Musiala could leave Bayern for about 100 million euros, just before becoming a free agent in 2030. This type of clause, although distant, gives the player the possibility to seek new challenges in the near future.

Although there are still years before these clauses are activated, rumors about Real Madrid's interest remain alive. Florentino Pérez, always alert to opportunities, might see Musiala as a key piece for the future of the white club.

The combination of his talent and the possible availability at a reasonable price in a few years makes the German midfielder an attractive option for the Madrid giant.

Despite his commitment to Bayern until 2030, Musiala's contractual situation keeps the door open to a possible signing by Real Madrid. Florentino Pérez smiles, knowing that the young talent's future could be closer than it seems.
