LaLiga Announces It, Insults to Vinícius at Anoeta Have Consequences and They Will Pay

LaLiga's complaint makes it possible to identify those who insulted Vinícius

This Sunday, before facing Rayo Vallecano at Bernabéu, Vinícius received great news. The racist insults against him that occurred at Anoeta will be punished. LaLiga announced this in a statement where it reported the progress.

On February 26, during the first leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals against Real Sociedad, disgraceful events took place. First, a part of the Anoeta stands began to chant "Asencio die." This prompted the match to be stopped to activate the protocol.

It was Vinícius, who as captain, approached the referee to warn him of what was happening. It seems that some didn't like that as they turned their anger against the Brazilian. They started with racist insults, but they were caught on camera and exposed on social media.

This led LaLiga to take action and report the incidents so that action could be taken against them. They know that it's no longer enough to condemn this type of behavior; it must be combated in other ways. One of them is taking measures to prevent it from happening again.

Individuals Who Insulted Vinícius Identified and Already in the Hands of Justice

After the complaint filed by LaLiga, the organization issued a statement this very Sunday. In it, they report that the Ertzaintza has already identified the authors of the racist insults. This way, they can be brought to justice to take action against them.

From the organization presided over by Javier Tebas, they have decided to take a further step against these recurring acts. There have been too many fields in Spain where Vinícius has heard racist insults. A remedy must be found as it is something that should not be tolerated in any stadium.

The identification of the two individuals from Anoeta was made based on a complaint from LaLiga. This way, the Ertzaintza was able to determine exactly who they were after analyzing the images. And proceedings have been opened, which have been referred to the judicial authority for the case to move forward.
