Neither Bellingham nor Kroos: the Best Midfielder of 2024 for Madrid Maldini

Maldini has demonstrated his great "Madrid fanaticism" with his latest words

Soccer is full of experts who change their opinions out of interest, something that's been confirmed with Julio Maldonado, better known as Maldini.

Many use Real Madrid for their personal benefit, though they end up 'betraying' the Madrid entity.

When Rodri unjustly won the 2024 Ballon d'Or, Maldini was the first to protest and clamor against UEFA.

"It's a big surprise because I think the favorite was Vinícius and I've never denied that I expected him to win it. Nor that if I had voted, I would have given it to Vinícius first," the commentator expressed.

Contradictory speech

This led, as expected, to many labeling him as a Madridist.

However, the commentator has gone on to 'deny' the good work of the white club in 2023-2024, as he has labeled Rodri as the best midfielder of the last season over figures like Bellingham and Kroos.

"I choose Rodri. Interestingly, I think he was better the previous year and although he's been injured for a long time," Maldini expressed on 'Despejados' with Sara Giménez and Misterchip.

This, as expected, has led many Madrid fans to respond to the 'guru' of world soccer, who constantly changes his criteria, but always to the detriment of the white club.

The reality is that Rodri surpassed Vinícius Jr., according to the press, something confirmed with The Best, as many want to harm Real Madrid.

The numbers and titles support the Brazilian over the Manchester City player, but also Toni Kroos and Jude Bellingham.

Both midfielders were key in the most recent successes of those led by Carlo Ancelotti.

The problem for both is that it's been proven once again that the 'experts' always dance to the tune that's played for them and what suits them best.
