Neither Rangers nor Deportivo, Davide Ancelotti surprises and has a new team
After leaving Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti's son has taken a new step in his career
The Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed this Friday the addition of Davide Ancelotti to the national team's coaching staff. The Italian will work as an assistant to his father, CarloAncelotti, current Brazil head coach.
Davide, who was recently mentioned as a possible coach for RC Deportivo and Rangers of Scotland, will join Canarinha's training camp. Meanwhile, the Brazilian national team drew 0-0 against Ecuador in Guayaquil, and they're preparing to face Paraguay next Thursday in a new World Cup qualifying match.

Brazil confirms Davide Ancelotti's signing
"Davide's addition to the Brazilian national team marks a new step forward in CBF's commitment to modernization and continuous improvement. His international background and methodological approach will provide key value in the development of the footballers and in building a stronger team for the future."
This was stated in the letter written by CBF. The note emphasized that Davide Ancelotti, 35 years old, began his career as an assistant coach in 2015. In addition, he has been part of the coaching staff at top clubs such as Napoli, Everton, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid.
It was taken for granted that Ancelotti would include his son in the Brazilian national team's coaching staff in the same role he held at the white club. However, the official announcement was delayed a few days due to Davide's interest in starting his path as a head coach.
Brazil has to improve their level in the next matches
With 22 points and only three matchdays left in the qualifiers, Brazil is currently in fourth place. However, that spot is at risk and could be given up this Friday if Colombia manage to beat Peru. In that case, they'd have to step up.

To stay within the top six places that grant direct qualification to the 2026 World Cup, Canarinha is required to earn all three points on Thursday against Paraguay. For now, Carlo Ancelotti has quite a lot of work ahead with a national team that should be one of the contenders for the World Cup.
