Paco González Sends the Bill to Maffeo after Madrid - Mallorca: If You Do ...

The winger was involved in all the controversial game's clashes and displayed unsportsmanlike behavior

Real Madrid defeated Mallorca 3-0 in the Spanish Supercopa semifinal in Saudi Arabia. Despite the result, the game was marked by tension, especially between Vinícius and Pablo Maffeo. The vermillion winger was involved in several controversies, one of which sparked strong criticism from Paco González.

The most controversial clash occurred after the final whistle. Maffeo and Raúl Asencio had a tense exchange of words.

It has been reported that Maffeo tried to provoke Asencio by saying: "Go spread videos," alluding to the recent controversy involving some Castilla players. Asencio, for his part, reacted by shouting "moron" and blew ironic kisses toward the Mallorca winger, adding: "You'll tell me that later outside."

Maffeo, the focus of all conflicts

Before the brawl, Jude Bellingham also had a confrontation with Maffeo. After Madrid's third goal, the Englishman gave him a slap on the back of the head, which was caught on television cameras. The gesture caused as much commotion as the final conflict.

Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid's coach, played a key role in calming things down. During the turmoil, he pulled Vinícius aside, who had a constant confrontation with Maffeo during the match. Although the Brazilian watched the incident defiantly, he didn't get directly involved.

Finally, Ancelotti led Maffeo by the shoulder to the locker rooms. They had a heated conversation while the rest of those involved withdrew.

The protagonists spoke

Dani Rodríguez, a Mallorca player, commented on the incident on Movistar: "The rivalry between them is well-known. I'd advise Asencio to learn how to win. That will help him in his career."

Ancelotti, for his part, downplayed the conflict. "It was unnecessary because the match was already over. It was a heated moment due to what happened in the game, but I tried to calm things down," he said.

In Tiempo de Juego, Paco González analyzed what happened. Upon seeing the replay of Bellingham's slap, he sent a message to Maffeo.

"I'll also tell you something, Maffeo. If you act like a 'tough guy,' sometimes you'll get treated like a 'tough guy.' Both are wrong. So, all 'tough guys' are wrong, but if you do it, sometimes it'll be done to you too," he concluded.

Real Madrid advances to the final, but the match will be remembered for the tension between its protagonists.
