Premier League Star Player that Maldini Would Transfer for Madrid: 'I Would Fix...'
Commentator and analyst points to the player who would null some of the club's weak points
Real Madrid won their fourth Intercontinental Cup in their history, but the debates about the competitive form that Carlo Ancelotti's men are going through don't stop at all. In this sense, many are already talking about transfers for the next markets, windows in which the white club may act to strengthen a team considerably diminished by injuries.
The medical absences experienced in these last four months have forced the Reggiolo coach to do some 'juggling', especially to square up a defensive line. The situation, since the recovery of Aurélien Tchouaméni, seems to be solved... but there's still a certain urgency in increasing the number of players available to the Italian strategist.
Julio Maldonado, in one of his recent live broadcasts, has addressed this issue. Instead of focusing on the defensive area, perhaps the one that attracts the most attention from Valdebebas offices, the analyst talks about the a midfielder's transfer.
The chosen one by 'Maldini' is none other than Enzo Fernández. Chelsea's '8', having overcome his turbulent personal situation, seems to have regained some of Enzo Maresca's confidence and has returned to the starting eleven. He has always been a key player since the blue entity acquired his services in the summer of 2022.
It would fit without any problems
For 'Maldini', the arrival of the Argentine midfielder would solve "some of Real Madrid's problems. MacAllister might also, but yes." The analyst and commentator argues that the South American player would be a great addition to the midfield, especially now that Real Madrid is eagerly looking for an organising pivot.
"I'm not comparing him to Kroos, but he is the kind of player who, playing in central midfield, can provide a lot of relief and solve a lot of problems," says Julio Maldonado. This opinion is becoming more and more popular, but it doesn't seem to have much impact in terms of transfer rumors.
Because Enzo Fernández's name is still far from being one of those eligible for the Madrid executives to expand the team during the next summer market. Although it is true that the search for Toni Kroos' heir is underway, the one who has the most chances today is a Spanish player from LaLiga.
Martín Zubimendi seems to have entered the list of potential Real Madrid players with some momentum and remains the best available option. The dilemma regarding the successor of the former German '8' will continue at Real Madrid until the transfer of a direct replacement for the German Merengue legend is confirmed.
