An example of this is Iker Casillas and Jose Mourinho, who had their ups and downs when they coincided at the Madrid club.

The relationship between the former goalkeeper and the coach started very well, but everything went downhill, which caused everything to end hanging in the air.

"He accused me of being friends with the press. Do I know people from the press? How could I not know them? But from there to leaking things from one and the other... It was me, I was the one who had people talking... maybe I kept quiet and didn't respond and assumed that I was the mole and the one talking to the press. I kept quiet much more than I should have," expressed the Madrid legend some time ago.

Beyond these words from Iker Casillas,  the reality is that this whole conflict with José Mourinho is a thing of the past, something that both have already stated publicly, but also with important gestures in private.

When the Spanish former goalkeeper suffered the heart attack, the Portuguese coach didn't hesitate to speak with his former captain.

"He got in touch with me, wished me the best. These are the details I have to hold onto. People have made more of it than we have," indicated Iker Casillas himself.

Now, in a promotional campaign for Uber Eats, the former Real Madrid goalkeeper has been questioned again about his former coach and their legendary conflict.

"Is the dispute with Mourinho and those years healed? It's already expired. José just made a documentary and asked me to be in it too. Look at what bad vibes we could have now...", assured the Móstoles native.

These words confirm that there is no grudge between the two and that it is all part of the press game that always seeks headlines.
