The Valencia player that Florentino Pérez wants to take from Mestalla despite the 7-1

The heavy defeat of Carlos Corberán's pupils doesn't change Real Madrid's interest in this footballer.

The last matchday of LaLiga concluded with a striking result in the FC Barcelona match. The visit from Valencia, desperately needing points to escape the relegation zone, couldn't stand up to Hansi Flick's team in the Catalan city. The lopsided 7-1 scoreline, however, has left some conclusions as positive as they are striking in the offices of Valdebebas.

The scouts tasked with closely monitoring LaLiga's competitive pace have repeatedly pointed out some high-quality and promising center-backs. Two of those names on the list of potential signings are currently Valencia players, but in the match at Montjuïc, Yarek Gasiorowski, of Spanish nationality, stood out.

The center-back, native of Valencia but with a Polish father, has become one of the most striking young prospects in Spanish football. His performance in the First Division still generates some reservations among the Madrid sports management, especially considering the extremely challenging competitive situation the Levantine club is in.

Valencia is deep in the relegation spots, but Real Madrid is keeping an eye on Yarek's progress in the team chaired by Peter Lim. So much so that Ekrem Konur has reportedly placed the Merengue sports discipline as one of the main interested parties in acquiring his services.

Remains a reference

However, Real Madrid wouldn't be the only team ready to make a move for Yarek Gasiorowski in the upcoming summer markets. The Turkish journalist warns the offices of Valdebebas: they will have to face competition from Atlético de Madrid, Inter Milan, Arsenal, RB Leipzig, or Aston Villa to sign him.

The scouts led by Juni Calafat keep the name of this Spanish talent, as well as that of his Valencia teammate Christian Mosquera, on the list of potential center-backs. Everything now depends on the will of the white leadership, which wouldn't be very willing to make a move in that direction during the next summer.

The information published by media like MARCA and journalists like Ramón Álvarez de Mon complicates the immediate arrival of new reinforcements for the white defense. Carlo Ancelotti's demands in this regard, increasing since Nacho Fernández's departure as a free agent, would come to nothing.

Even when it comes to the incorporation of players like Yarek Gasiorowski himself, who fulfills a profile highly demanded by those in the noble area of Santiago Bernabéu. He is a player who promises to bring longevity and quality in equal measure, as well as a considerably reduced transfer... especially compared to his counterparts from other clubs in the five major leagues.
