Vinícius, mocked at the Fallas of Valencia, his 'ninot' may be reported

The relationship between Vinícius Júnior and Valencia has always been, at the very least, very tense. The team's fans have consistently been involved in controversies due to their taunts and attacks toward the Brazilian player. Although this has been reported and penalized in the past, it hasn't stopped the attacks on the Real Madrid star at all.

This was demonstrated with a recent ninot presented at Las Fallas in Valencia. Showing a caricatured statue of the player, the attack is more than evident. Moreover, the mockery toward Vinícius is even more severe due to the prize his ninot is holding, being a 'Cagalló D’or,' or Golden Dung.

This situation has shown what Valencians are willing to do to attack the Brazilian forward. While this has been attempted to be passed off as an exhibition, the reality is that the ninot can be reported.  The consequences could then be very serious for those responsible.

Another attack on Vinícius

Vinícius's last match at Mestalla was, unsurprisingly, full of controversy. Being the obvious target of the fans and Valencia players, the Brazilian was unjustly sent off from the match. An event that was thought to be the last controversy of this season between Valencia and the 24-year-old player.

However, the exposed ninot has shown that Vinícius continues to be the subject of mockery and attacks in Valencia. From his caricature to the mockery of his unjust and controversial defeat in the Ballon d'Or, everything about this ninot is punishable.

Once again showing their lack of values, the authorities must do something to prevent more controversies like these from the Valencians. In a sport and, above all, a competition that constantly strives to improve, this type of situation has no place.

A situation that must be stopped

While soccer is a sport that lends itself to some taunting, what Valencia has done has crossed all limits. Personally attacking Vinícius, the ninot is a sign that if this situation isn't stopped now, everything will end up getting worse.
