10M fell from the sky for Madrid, Florentino gives the OK and rubs his hands
The signing accepted by Florentino Pérez so Real Madrid receives a multimillion-dollar income
Having started to make some signings, Real Madrid hasn't forgotten about the departures they need to make. While the vast majority involve players from the squad, Real Madrid is also focused on those who are outside of it. Such is the case of a talented full-back whose signing has been approved by Florentino Pérez due to his high value.
Miguel Gutiérrez is the player who could bring Real Madrid a multi-million euro income this summer. Although he had been linked to a possible return to Real Madrid, the club has decided to focus on other full-backs. This has allowed Atlético de Madrid, Napoli, Juventus, and AC Milan to start competing for Miguel Gutiérrez's signing.
Holding 50% of Miguel's rights, his departure would leave at least €10 million ($10.8 million) in Real Madrid's coffers. This is by no means a negligible amount for a club that, looking ahead to this summer, seeks to make several signings to strengthen the squad.

Florentino Pérez's approval
Having been part of Real Madrid's youth academy from 2011 to 2022, Miguel Gutiérrez signed for Girona to get more playing time. Also seeking experience with a top-flight team, Miguel managed to establish himself as Girona's star. Performing well as a left-back, Miguel is one of the best in his position in LaLiga.
Although his contract with Girona runs until 2027, the 23-year-old full-back is ready to make the leap to a more competitive club. Even though his release clause is €35 million ($37.8 million), his departure from Girona could be negotiated for a value between €20 million ($21.6 million) and €25 million ($27 million).

This has led multiple teams to show interest in a player whose departure Real Madrid seeks to finalize. The fact that Florentino has approved Miguel's sale has sealed the future of a player who won't be able to return to Real Madrid.
a major income for Real Madrid
Even though Miguel never ruled out his desire to return to Real Madrid, this won't be possible after Florentino Pérez's decision. With other left-backs in their sights, all that's left is to wait for the destination Miguel chooses for his young and talented career.
