17 years old and already Europe's big sensation, Madrid goes after the new Kroos

Real Madrid might have a very clear new target for the midfield

Real Madrid is immersed in the competition, but it doesn't stop looking to the future, aware that they must strengthen the squad.

This is something Carlo Ancelotti doesn't work on, at least publicly, but Florentino Pérez does.

The Merengue president knows that the squad needs signings, especially to make a leap in quality.

Much has been said about Kroos during this season, which explains the continuous talk of a replacement for the German, something that doesn't seem possible or so Ancelotti has thought.

"There isn't a player with Kroos's characteristics in the market, but we have to replace him in another way. We have midfielders with a lot of quality, and we have to adapt next season's play to their characteristics," indicated the Italian strategist a few months ago.

Present and Future Objective

Beyond these words and the usual names of Martín Zubimendi or Florian Wirtz, the reality is that Juni Calafat has a 'hidden gem'.

The head scout of the Madrid entity is following Ayyoub Bouaddi very closely, who at 17 years old is shining at Lille.

"Although his contract ends in the summer of 2027, the idea is to start negotiations where all parties benefit. This is what marks an investment, but it could be lower considering his age; at 17 years old, he is valued at 25 million euros, and this is reflected in his quality and performance," explained journalist Andrés Guzmán about this move that Real Madrid could make in the coming months.

This information confirms that Florentino Pérez and José Ángel Sánchez are still thinking about 'replacing' Toni Kroos, although they still have other open fronts.

The renewal of Luka Modric, as well as the constant noise about a possible departure of Aurélien Tchouaméni and Dani Ceballos, is something that the sports managers of the Madrid entity will have to solve, as they might even need more than one signing for the midfield, but what is clear is that Ayyoub Bouaddi is a bet for the present and the future.
