50M and Real Madrid: the 'new Camavinga' becomes attainable

The promising midfielder Real Madrid could sign given its affordable value

Strengthening the midfield has been a priority for Real Madrid since the departures of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. Although the club had several players in its sights during the last transfer window, it didn't manage to finalize any deals. Despite this, looking ahead to a future transfer window, Real Madrid has set its sights on Ayyoub Bouaddi.

At just 17 years old, the midfielder has stood out as Lille's young prospect. In the two seasons he has played as a professional footballer, Bouaddi has progressed in a truly impressive way. In addition to his outstanding vision on the field, the Frenchman has great dribbling skills and the ability to break through opposing lines.

These qualities make him very similar to Eduardo Camavinga, who hasn't managed to make his debut this season yet. His value, according to Defensa Central, is €50 million. This is a price set by Lille to allow the departure of a midfielder who would be a top-level addition for Real Madrid.

Renewing the squad

Trained in Lille's youth academy since 2021, Ayyoub Bouaddi quickly rose through the ranks. Starting in the youth team, Bouaddi moved through the under-17 and under-19 squads until reaching the first team during the summer of 2023. He made his debut just three days after turning 16 years old, specifically on October 5, 2023.

Last season, he managed to play a total of 2,037 min. (1,863 min.) and even played against Real Madrid in the Champions League. Given his outstanding campaign, the Frenchman is one of the candidates to win the Kopa Trophy. This award is considered the Ballon d'Or for all players under 21 years old.

Although his contract ends in 2027, Real Madrid could try to sign him next summer. €50 million is a fairly affordable value for a club like Los Blancos. Since it needs a playmaker, Real Madrid believes Bouaddi is the ideal player to fill this position.

A promising player

The main problem with this deal is AC Milan's interest in signing Bouaddi. Although Real Madrid trusts it can finalize the transfer, the presence of a rival would prolong the operation. Along with this, the player's value could also increase, which would be a highly undesirable situation for Real Madrid.
