9 from Madrid Who's Heading to Germany: Florentino and Ancelotti Give the OK

White executives don't miss any details of the interested parties' advances in the forward

Summer market's arrival  will be a time of change for Madrid, not only because long-requested transfers by Ancelotti's coaching staff will be made. Some departures will also be forged to maintain balance in the coffers of Bernabéu Stadium: for the white leadership, it's essential and necessary to have a healthy economy.

In this regard, the Bundesliga is already starting to take positions regarding a player who could leave the Madrid club during the 2025 summer. The player chosen by several clubs in the German league, according to information published by Relevo, is one of the most advanced pupils of La Fábrica, leader of Real Madrid Castilla.

The name Gonzalo García has been resonating strongly through the halls of the Ciudad Deportiva de Valdebebas due to his good performances in Primera RFEF. Even Ancelotti seemed to notice him at the end of 2024, calling him up for the Intercontinental Cup final held in Doha. However, he hasn't been able to establish himself as a substitute in the first team beyond that sporadic appearance.

Among other things because there are already plenty of players in the forward line-up. The arrivals of Mbappé and Endrick have completed an area that, despite so many stars, continues to give headaches to Ancelotti and his tactical coaches. Especially in big games, where the lack of goals has become a worrying trend.

No impediments

Be that as it may, the interest in this Real Madrid Castilla player makes it clear that things are being done well in La Fábrica. "Relevo" hasn't yet revealed the names of the teams interested in acquiring Gonzalo García's card, but they do warn that they will attempt his transfer within six months. The goal is for him to reach the German first division before doing the same wearing the Madrid jersey.

There doesn't seem to be much rush in the sports management to bring Gonzalo García closer to the first team. So much so that Florentino Pérez and Carlo Ancelotti themselves would have welcomed the timid approaches from Germany for the Madrid native.

Despite this willingness to listen to offers for Gonzalo García, the Valdebebas offices are clear that they're not willing to "give away" one of their best youth players. The "7" of Real Madrid Castilla has a contract until the summer of 2027 and a market value of two million euros. Everything will depend on the formula offered by the German teams interested in this transaction.

Because the white executives could reject any move that implies a definitive farewell to Gonzalo García. Replicating other successful models like Fran García, Sergio Arribas, or Nico Paz, this Real Madrid Castilla forward could leave the white team in mid-2025... always thinking of a hypothetical return through a buyback clause.
