After Ouazane, Real Madrid has another free target in the Eredivisie for 2026

The failed signing of Abdellah Ouazane was a hard blow for Los Blancos because it seemed to be a signing for the future. However, it seems they've set their sights on another outstanding footballer from the league. In this case, we're referring to Quinten Timber, who's caught the board's attention, according to what Defensa Central has learned.

He's a player who has good references as of today and could be a signing for the midfield sector. His statistics and, above all, his development have been very good in the Dutch league. Now, he could take the big step to Real Madrid in what would be his great opportunity. 

They have him in their sights

This player looks set to be one of the club's major signings in the midfield sector. Last season, although he didn't stand out as much, at 24 years old, he has an outstanding level. This season, he's played just over 2,000 min. (2,000 minutos) in 26 matches, where as a central midfielder he contributed six goals and one assist. 

Logically, this is a footballer who could have a very high projection both for his qualities and his vision of the game. His market value is estimated at about €30 million, according to Transfermarkt, but his contract ends in 2026. This could open the door to a much more affordable arrival in this same transfer window. 

However, it's important to remember that the squad currently has all its spots filled, so they'd have to wait for a departure. There are names on the table, such as Ceballos, and he could be his natural replacement at the club. A player with projection, qualities, and above all youth, who could fit perfectly in place of the Sevillian.
