AI announces it: Real Madrid is not the favorite to win the World Cup, the list
The ranking with which AI has reduced Real Madrid's chances of winning the Club World Cup
Before the start of the Club World Cup, Opta's supercomputer had revealed its ranking for this tournament. Leaving PSG as the main favorite to win the World Cup, Real Madrid was placed in fifth position. This was quite a surprising position at the time, considering it is the best club in the world.
With the group stage finished and the round of 16 ready to be played, Opta's supercomputer has released a new ranking. Real Madrid, after being in fifth place among the favorites to win the World Cup, is now in sixth place. This is an even bigger surprise than the first, with Real Madrid being surpassed by Chelsea.
Even though Opta's supercomputer has already made mistakes with Real Madrid in the past, the AI seems like it doesn't learn. With its rival being Juventus of Turin, Real Madrid must once again show the AI how to make better predictions.
Real Madrid's place
Although Real Madrid's season wasn't as surprising as previous ones, the club competed for every title. It fought until the end for LaLiga, reached the Copa del Rey final, and the Champions League quarterfinals.
The club had a decent campaign. The conquests of the UEFA Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup are proof of this.

Chelsea, meanwhile, had a different campaign from Real Madrid, which won more titles. Fourth place in the Premier League and winning only the Conference League, it's hard to understand why Opta has placed it above Real Madrid.
With the club achieving 2 wins and 1 draw, its qualification for the round of 16 was as group leader. This was the opposite for Chelsea. It qualified in second place after losing 3-1 to Flamengo, a match in which Chelsea suffered a sending off.
The moment of truth
This ranking has shown, once again, that the best way to show yourself as a favorite to win a title is on the field. Real Madrid, improving absolutely in all its aspects, has started its respective training sessions to reach the grand final.
