Alexander Arnold and 2 More This Summer: Real Madrid's Transfer Market Plan

The English full-back won't be the only reinforcement, as Florentino Pérez wants to finalize the arrival of Huijsen and Zubimendi

Real Madrid Has a Clear Goal for the Next Transfer Market. According to Tomás González from El Debate, Florentino Pérez and his sports management are preparing a Renewal Plan to rejuvenate a squad with an average age over 28 years. With Raúl Asencio already secured, the club targets key reinforcements: Alexander-Arnold, Zubimendi, and Dean Huijsen.

Asencio and the Arrival of Huijsen

The first confirmed signing is Asencio, who will renew after a great season. Additionally, the Madrid management is focused on signing Dean Huijsen, a 19-year-old center-back who has impressed with his performance in the Spanish national team and Bournemouth.

Huijsen, of Dutch origin, has been key in the defense of the English team and, despite being desired by major clubs, prefers to sign for Real Madrid, with an estimated price of about 50 million euros.

The Interest in Alexander-Arnold

Another secured signing is Alexander-Arnold. The Liverpool right-back ends his contract in June and has rejected several renewal offers. He is expected to join Real Madrid on July 1 as a free agent, signing for five years.

This signing would cover the absence of Dani Carvajal, who is recovering from a serious injury. With Alexander-Arnold, Real Madrid would not only strengthen the right-back position but also its squad in general, given the player's international level.

Zubimendi, the Midfield Reinforcement

In the midfield, the priority is Martín Zubimendi. Real Madrid sees the Real Sociedad player as the ideal complement to Ceballos. Zubimendi, specialized in defensive tasks, would bring balance to the midfield, something the team needs after Kroos's retirement.

His release clause is 60 million, and although several English clubs, such as Arsenal, are interested, Zubimendi prefers Real Madrid.
