Alexander-Arnold Suffers Knee Injury, It May Be Serious and Concerns Madrid
Before His Signing, Uncertainty Grows over the British Fullback's Injury
Real Madrid is focused on Wednesday's Champions League round of 16 match against Atlético. Right now, it is the main concern, at least for Ancelotti and the players. Meanwhile, the offices have their sights set on another issue that also affects them directly.
Liverpool was eliminated by PSG in the penalty shootout that decided their tie. A painful end for the team that had finished first in the group stage and were strong favorites for the title. But additionally, they saw Alexander Arnold leave the match injured.

All alarms went off at Anfield, but also at Real Madrid due to their future signing. Arnold attempted to steal the ball from Vitinha, but his knee got stuck, and he immediately grabbed it before falling to the ground. He noticed it as soon as it happened, although he was able to get up and walk off on his own.
He needs to undergo tests to determine the real extent of the injury and its potential severity. However, the sports injury expert physiotherapist, Ángel Villanueva, has indicated that "he could suffer a sprain of the medial collateral ligament". This would sideline him for a little over 3 weeks.
Real Madrid Attentive to Alexander Arnold's Possible Injury
Real Madrid would already have an agreement with Alexander Arnold for his signing this coming summer. That's why the severity of the injury concerns not only Liverpool but also the Merengues. They already have Carvajal out for the entire season due to a cruciate ligament tear.

Ángel Villanueva has also indicated other possibilities, including an ankle injury. He could have suffered a sprain in the syndesmosis of his right ankle, and his absence will depend on the grade. In the worst-case scenario, it could extend up to 2 months of recovery.
He practically says goodbye to the rest of the season if the worst forecasts are confirmed. He would be available again in mid-May, when the Premier League could already be decided. In any case, he would recover in time to join Real Madrid this summer.
