Ancelotti and Brazil could determine a player's departure from Real Madrid
The former Madrid coach, now in Rio de Janeiro, could become the key factor for a player's continuity
Real Madrid remains very active in the market, even though the transfer window authorized by FIFA for the Club World Cup, from June 1 to 10, has already ended, the club isn't satisfied yet. There could be more activity after the tournament that's already taking place in the United States.
After completing the signings of Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Franco Mastantuono, Madrid still has to finalize the arrival of Álvaro Carreras. The Galician footballer was ultimately retained by Benfica, which, after agreeing to a transfer with Madrid, registered the left-back on the list to play in the World Cup with the Portuguese team.
Madrid didn't understand the move by the Lisbon club, but Florentino Pérez has reportedly already spoken with Carreras to tell him that from Chamartín, they won't leave him stranded. The club will be able to activate the wing-back's release clause, set at €50 million, starting July 1. The '3' position needs to be filled as soon as possible after Ferland Mendy's injury.
Along with possible signings that may arrive, Madrid also has to deal with possible departures or players being let go. Luka Modric, Lucas Vázquez, and Jesús Vallejo lead this list. The first two will play in the World Cup and will say goodbye to the club, while the center-back from Zaragoza is already waiting for June 30 to end his contract with the club and hasn't even traveled to Miami.
Endrick depends on Ancelotti
Endrick Felipe could also leave Madrid. According to "The Athletic," if the club signs a number 9 like Joselu, who could be one of Xabi Alonso's requests, the Brazilian could find himself pushed into the background. In that case, the young striker would request a move: if not now, then in January.

Endrick's intention is to play in the 2026 World Cup with the "Canarinha." Meanwhile, in this regard, Carlo Ancelotti becomes especially important, the new coach of Brazil, who could "reserve" him a spot in the South American squad so he can get minutes in a World Cup that in Rio de Janeiro is already seen as an essential goal, even more so with Carletto's signing.
