Carlo Ancelotti appeared in the press room after the match and was satisfied with his team's performance. The Italian coach highlighted that they managed to have control of the game, although he acknowledged a certain lack of balance.
The journalists present reminded him of the controversial actions, both the penalty by Óscar on Arda Güler and the foul by Renato Tapia on Rodrygo. "In the second goal, it could have been a foul in the ball recovery. As Leganés complains, we could complain too", the Italian commented.
Additionally, Carlo Ancelotti also wanted to highlight another outstanding performance by Kylian Mbappé. "He's doing very well and making a difference. (...) Yesterday he tried with free kicks and has been very effective, and we gave him the confidence today", he explained.
Believes LaLiga Is Still a Three-Team Race
"Atlético will fight until the end because that's what they have to do until the end. Atlético is a very serious team and will fight until the end", stated Carlo Ancelotti. However, the draw against RCD Espanyol leaves the Red and Whites in a very unfavorable situation.

He also had words for Arda Güler, who scored a goal with Türkiye during the break and started against CD Leganés. "He's not as unbalancing as the forwards we have, but he has a very nice ball control. Then I changed him to have more strength up front", he added.
