Announce that Ancelotti Will Stop Being Real Madrid's Coach in the Coming Hours
The Reggiolo manager might be living his last days as the Real Madrid coach
Despite Real Madrid's defeat in the Copa del Rey final, the offices in Valdebebas still haven't made a decision about Ancelotti's future. The Reggiolo coach, as of this Sunday, April 27, is still the coach of the first merengue team... but the information coming in this regard offers a different version.
In addition to the alleged meeting between the Italian strategist and an envoy sent by the CBF to issue an ultimatum to Carlo Ancelotti himself, several media outlets are hinting at a surprise. Among them is Sky Sports, a television channel that warns: the transalpine coach would cease to be the Madrid coach next week.

According to the information sources handled by that sports channel, Carlo Ancelotti "is very close" to becoming the new coach of Brazil. Meanwhile, all the rumors regarding the hiring of Jorge Jesús from Saudi Arabia would have fallen flat... placing the still white coach back at the forefront of the 'race' to lead the Canarinha.
From Sky Sports, in addition to surprising with this latest news about Carlo Ancelotti's future, they point out that the talks have been paused for the rest of this April. This prestigious outlet recalls that the contacts between Brazil and Carlo Ancelotti will resume in May, facilitating his departure from the local bench at Santiago Bernabéu during next week.
Immediate Surprise
The way the Copa del Rey final was lost against FC Barcelona didn't predict such a sudden change of coach. But the meeting of the Reggiolo coach with an envoy from the South American team, as well as this information published by Sky Sports, accelerates a saga that has lasted two years.
It was in January 2023 when the CBF leaders truly became interested in Carlo Ancelotti, but the Reggiolo coach assured that he wanted to stay at Real Madrid. That same disposition, repeated a few weeks ago, would have changed radically following the defeat in the match played at La Cartuja.

It would also leave Real Madrid in a complicated context. Without an official first-team coach, if Ancelotti leaves next week, the white leaders would have to look toward an interim coach to lead and train the team. The doubt lies in the time margins of that interim period, given the proximity of the Club World Cup.
What seemed like a calm resolution of the coaching saga at Real Madrid would have turned into a race against time. Sky Sports points out that this is Carlo Ancelotti's last week with the white team, preparing to embark on a new stage as Brazil's coach starting in May.
