SER announces that Vinícius has asked to earn more money than Mbappé
Vinicius Júnior's million-dollar demands to Real Madrid have been revealed by SER
Like in a never-ending story, Vinícius Júnior's contract renewal continues to raise serious doubts. The player, who is currently focused on his vacation, has made his demands clear to Real Madrid. According to information from SER, Vinícius is seeking a salary of more than €25 million net per season.
An amount that Real Madrid isn't willing to pay due to its wage structure. Florentino Pérez, since the beginning of his second term, has always kept all players' salaries in check. According to what we know at Defensa Central, Vinícius's contract renewal was a done deal, with his salary being €20 million plus bonuses.
However, the Brazilian has changed his demands because of Kylian Mbappé. The 25-year-old winger wants to have a salary higher than what the French forward receives. This is certainly a complicated situation after his performance last season.
Vinícius's fervent desire
Signed in 2018 from Flamengo, Vinícius Júnior arrived at Real Madrid as a great prospect. Despite his difficult first seasons, the left winger managed to establish himself in the team. So far, having played a total of 322 matches, Vinícius has scored 106 goals and provided 83 assists.

Statistics that clearly show the high level Vinícius has reached except for last season. 22 goals and 19 assists are by no means bad numbers. The problem was Vinícius's level in the most important matches of the season.
Accustomed to being one of the main figures, Vinícius disappeared in these matches. This is partly why Real Madrid has refused to meet his demands for his contract renewal. Even so, the club is waiting for Vinícius to return from his vacation to address this situation.
Vinícius's alternatives
Given his demands, Vinícius is entering very dangerous territory with Real Madrid. The club has never had a problem letting even legends leave if they demand too high a salary. With Saudi Arabia keeping its interest in the Brazilian, Vinícius Júnior's future is a complete mystery.
