The veteran journalist makes it clear that the players have two key objectives: to beat Rayo Vallecano and Atlético de Madrid. "It was before the match, a talk at the club, of 'if we win the two upcoming matches, Rayo and Atlético de Madrid, we can win everything'" this season. Josep Pedrerol recalls that Real Madrid has set those two matches as their "clear objectives".

For now, they have managed, albeit by the minimum, to defeat Íñigo Pérez's pupils at Santiago Bernabéu to stay in the fight for the LaLiga leadership.  Now they only need to secure victory at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano to be in the quarter-finals of the Champions League 24/25.

Josep Pedrerol, meanwhile, reveals "the absolute confidence in the team to win everything if they overcome two tough obstacles like Atlético de Madrid and Rayo" Vallecano. Because the match against 'La Franja' represented much more 'danger' than expected  "because it was a formality and could cause some confusion in someone", notes the veteran journalist.

"Well, for now, the first has been achieved, which is the objective of Rayo, and Atlético de Madrid. Confidence, one is missing". The host of 'El Chiringuito de Jugones' recalls that "if they win on Wednesday, Madrid believes they can win everything this year", emphasizes the TV host about Real Madrid's chances.

This message currently held by the players coached by Carlo Ancelotti "is a confidence that the locker room conveys and they convey in the club" regarding the upcoming matches on the calendar. Having overcome the Rayo Vallecano objective, all the efforts of the white club must now be focused on the match against Atlético de Madrid.

There is no doubt that this is a special occasion in the current season. Not only because it is a Madrid classic, but because the passage to the Champions League quarter-finals is at stake. Real Madrid seeks to defend the title won last season and can only do so by eliminating Atlético de Madrid.
