Operation authorized, goodbye to Real Madrid to join Juventus for €35M

Miguel Gutiérrez will leave Girona at the end of the season and the Italian team will provide great benefits to Madrid

Miguel Gutiérrez is very close to leaving Girona to sign for Juventus of Turin. The 22-year-old Spanish left-back is the main candidate to replace Andrea Cambiaso, who could leave this summer. According to sources close to the operation, the transfer would be closed at around 35 million euros.

Real Madrid, which keeps 50% of his rights, has already authorized the operation. Although they will not exercise their buyback clause, they will receive half of the amount. In Valdebebas, they do not consider his return, neither Carlo Ancelotti nor the future technical management with Xabi Alonso have shown any intention of recovering him.

Juventus speeds up his signing

In Turin, they see him as a priority addition. His experience in the First Division, his performance with Girona, and his offensive profile make him a safe bet. At 22 years old, he has shown personality on big stages, including high-level matches in the Champions League.

The Italian club has already initiated formal contacts with the player's entourage. If Cambiaso's sale is finalized, Gutiérrez's signing would be closed quickly. Girona also views the operation favorably, as it would obtain significant income in a single sale.

Real Madrid will not put up obstacles

Florentino Pérez and his board have given the green light. There is no intention to stop the transfer or negotiate special conditions. The white club considers his stage closed, although they positively value the progress he has made at Girona.

Miguel Gutiérrez, meanwhile, has already made it clear that he will not play for Atlético de Madrid. In private, he has stated that he doesn't consider that option out of respect for Real Madrid, a club to which he still feels connected.

Although his future seems to be definitively moving away from Bernabéu, Miguel keeps a good relationship with the entity. His loyalty and performance have earned him the respect of Madridists, and now he seeks to take another step in his career in Serie A.

If nothing goes wrong, the transfer will be official in the coming weeks. Real Madrid will receive approximately 17.5 million euros for their part, and Juventus will acquire a young, established left-back with international projection.
