Bad News for Bellingham, Suspended in La Liga and Unable to Play in the Champions League

Jude Bellingham won't be able to play the next Champions League match.

This morning the news broke about Jude Bellingham's 2-match suspension in La Liga. This is due to the unfair red card that Munuera Montero decided to show him in Pamplona.

In this context, now a new suspension in the Champions League is added as well.  Bellingham has just received a yellow card and, as he was on notice, he won't be able to play in Real Madrid's next match in Europe.

He has also had to endure a tough moment in the Champions League, where he will miss the first leg of the next qualifying round. A rather adverse situation, but he can still recover for the return leg.

Won't Be in the Next Match

The British footballer has had quite a challenging few weeks following his expulsion against Osasuna in the league. However, in the Champions League, he seemed to be doing something completely different, although in the end, it was also a bitter pill to swallow.

Due to a fortuitous action in the match, he received a caution from the referee and will miss the first leg of the round of 16. This could mean that, whether against Atlético de Madrid or Bayer Leverkusen, number 5 won't be there.  A significant loss due to his presence in important moments since last season.
