Bale sends a message to Mbappé, he admits it openly: 'His goals don't...'

The Real Madrid legend made his opinion about the French forward's first season very clear

Real Madrid was eliminated this past Wednesday by Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinals of the Club World Cup (4-0). After the match, some of the white team's players were singled out for their attitude on the field.

One of those who gave his opinion was Gareth Bale, former player and absolute legend of Real Madrid. The Welshman was asked about Kylian Mbappé, whose reunion with Paris Saint-Germain was a complete disaster for him.

Gareth Bale's words about Kylian Mbappé

"Kylian Mbappé keeps scoring goals and does good things, but he hasn't won anything. At Real Madrid you expect to win everything every season. Xabi Alonso has work to do and they must know how to manage the pressure, how to handle it", commented Gareth Bale.

The Welsh striker made it clear that, despite the goals, Kylian Mbappé and Real Madrid have to do even more to win. The important thing at the white club is to win trophies, something that wasn't achieved last season in the most important competitions.

Gareth Bale also remembers Luka Modric

Gareth Bale was also asked about Luka Modric. The Croatian, with whom he also played at Tottenham, is one of the best teammates and friends of the former Welsh player.

"I think Modric could keep playing, but I think Real Madrid wants to sign young players and move forward. Otherwise, they'd be saving a spot", commented Gareth Bale.

The Croatian footballer played his last minutes wearing Real Madrid's jersey against Paris Saint-Germain. He played 20 min. (20 minutes) and ended his adventure in the Club World Cup with an interview in which he said goodbye to all Madridists.

"An unforgettable, glorious, and winning era has ended; I'll be grateful for life. Remembering everything I've achieved here is something to be very happy about, even if it's over. At Real Madrid I've grown as a player and as a person", explained Luka Modric.

"Real Madrid has given me everything in football and that's why I'll be grateful for life. I'll always be a Madridist", concluded the Madridist legend.
