'He's better than Lamine', D’Alessandro's confession that's shaking up El Chiringuito
The legendary former Argentine footballer and talk show guest spoke about Mastantuono's arrival at Real Madrid
Franco Mastantuono, considered one of the great gems of Argentine soccer, is close to becoming a Real Madrid player. This 17-year-old talent, coming from River Plate, will be signed for a fee close to 45 million euros. With the deal almost finalized, in Spain people are already highlighting his different qualities.
In this case, Jorge D’Alessandro, a former footballer and Argentine coach with a long career in Europe, made a remarkable comparison between Lamine Yamal and Franco Mastantuono. His words, on "El Chiringuito de Jugones", have gone incredibly viral in recent hours.
"Mastantuono is better than Lamine Yamal", was the beginning of the comment D’Alessandro made on the show "El Chiringuito". Then, as his colleagues were astonished by such a statement, he continued his analysis: "We still don't know what Mastantuono is going to do. Because he has the possibility of being an attacking midfielder, he can play in the midfield line."
D’Alessandro Asks For Mastantuono To Arrive In Madrid As Soon As Possible
"He possesses such extraordinary talent that that's why I want him to arrive in Madrid as soon as possible, because it's necessary to train him properly", he concluded. It's worth mentioning that D’Alessandro was the one who made the renowned analysis of the Argentine national team's victory in the Qatar World Cup.
And this isn't the first time the former Argentine coach highlights Franco Mastantuono. During the broadcast of the last Superclásico, D’Alessandro expressed his admiration for the footballer. "He's truly homegrown. I love it! What a great goal! Thank you, kid!"
Additionally, Matías Palacios, also a participant on "El Chiringuito", spoke wonders about the midfielder. "Argentine soccer has a new gem. Argentine soccer has a new star," he commented.
"Argentine soccer always shows something new and today we have to introduce this boy to the world. What a great goal! Monumental is shaking", Matías Palacios added later.
Mastantuono Will Arrive At Real Madrid In August
The official announcement of the young prospect's transfer will take place on August 15, just one day after he turns 18 years old. He will play the Club World Cup with River Plate, and there is even a possibility that he could play in the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will protect Franco Mastantuono with a historic release clause, known as "anti-sheikhs", valued at 1 trillion euros. When he signs a six-season contract, until mid-2031, the footballer will already be under Xabi Alonso's orders.
