Casemiro Speaks Out on Real Madrid - Manchester City and Warns: 'Watch Out...'

This coming Wednesday, Real Madrid and Manchester City will face off in one of Europe's most anticipated clashes. Although it's true that the 'cityzen' team is not in its best form, many agree that it could be considered an early semifinal.

One person who knows perfectly how Real Madrid approaches these types of matches is Carlos Henrique 'Casemiro'. The Brazilian midfielder, currently at Manchester United, has won five Champions League titles with the white club.

What Does Casemiro Think About the Second Leg?

"The comeback wasn't a surprise for me. Madrid almost always does it, and everyone knows the history of this team and what it is capable of doing. Madrid always rises until the end and never gives up", he commented in the newspaper AS.

"Even losing 2-1, I knew there was a lot of match left", explained Casemiro. Real Madrid, with the score against them on two occasions, was able to recover and achieve a very positive result.

Does He Believe Real Madrid Will Advance?

"It's not going to be easy, but Bernabéu, on those Champions nights, is very special. I wish all the luck in the world to my former teammates, and not just because of my rivalry with City, but more for Madrid", he explained.

Casemiro won up to five Champions League titles with Real Madrid. He experienced unforgettable nights and spectacular comebacks at the white stronghold. Therefore, the Brazilian knows perfectly how the whites handle themselves in this competition, but he also warns of the dangers of City.

Finally, Casemiro spoke about Kylian Mbappé and his great level. "After playing against him, I told the president to sign him. He is one of those players that when you face them, you don't know how to stop them", he concluded.
