Ceballos and Asencio could say goodbye to Real Madrid in a matter of days

Asencio and Ceballos could be on their way out of Real Madrid, and people are already starting to think about it

There are several footballers on the white squad whose futures at the club remain uncertain. Among them are Dani Ceballos and Raúl Asencio, who don't seem to have a place on the team. Both footballers have received specific offers from Besiktas and Fenerbahce of Türkiye.

Obviously, these are two proposals that are much less demanding and, above all, prestigious than staying at Real Madrid. However, since they're expected to get very little playing time this season, perhaps the best option for them would be to leave the Merengue institution. Although everything depends on the decision both of them make and whether the board wants to let them go, which seems to be the case.

Two proposals from Türkiye

In the case of the 29-year-old midfielder, things are a bit more complicated, since there's a lot of competition in this area. As a footballer who managed to become important under Ancelotti, things have changed radically. Today, Alonso doesn't seem to trust the Utrera footballer for what he wants in his game plan.

Meanwhile, the one who lost the chance to stay with the white squad is the homegrown defender. At 22 years old, he was the big revelation of last season defensively, but everything fell apart at the Club World Cup. In three matches, he made three huge mistakes that directly led to a goal or put the team at a disadvantage.

That's why these two clubs seem to have their sights set on these players for the winter transfer window and might take them during this period. The homegrown player could have the biggest opportunity, since he's still young enough to learn and address his shortcomings. Meanwhile, things are more complicated for the Utrera native, who doesn't have much time left in his career to reach his potential.

The board must analyze it

Now it's up to the club's top management to decide if these offers are the best they can get at this point. Otherwise, they might listen to another offer that comes up soon.  However, looking at the overall picture, it doesn't seem like many more will come after these.
