Ceballos and His Fierce Attack on Simeone that Madrid Fans Celebrate: 'Losing...'

Dani Ceballos replied to Simeone's incendiary statements in which he attacks Real Madrid

Dani Ceballos excelled brightly in Real Madrid's 4-1 victory against UD Las Palmas. His excellent performance sparked an ovation from the Madrid fans when he was substituted. After the game, the midfielder approached the mixed zone to offer his perspective on the team's current moment.

Among other matters, Dani Ceballos was questioned about Diego Pablo Simeone's statements after the game between Madrid and Celta in the Copa del Rey.

"I didn't watch yesterday's game. I was told about certain episodes, but as they've been happening for 100 years, I don't know what surprises them", commented the Argentine coach in one of his latest press conferences.

Dani Ceballos's strong message in the mixed zone

At the end of the game, Ceballos delivered a rather notable statement. The Andalusian was asked about Diego Pablo Simeone's words, and his reply couldn't have been clearer.

"I think Cholo hasn't gotten over the two finals he lost to Real Madrid. They have their opinion, we have to keep working and enjoying the victory", commented the player from Utrera.

Dani Ceballos, who played one of his best matches with Real Madrid, didn't miss the opportunity to respond. Simeone's words were not well received at the club, and it seems the Argentine still harbors some resentment toward the white team.

He wasn't the first to respond to Simeone

Carlo Ancelotti was the first to respond to Diego Pablo Simeone's words before the match against UD Las Palmas.

"These are things said for the gallery. I think everyone in soccer is aware of what Real Madrid represents now and in these 125 years of history. Everyone in soccer is very clear about it", explained Carlo Ancelotti.

"It may be that they're thorns that hurt", concluded the Italian. Carletto, like Ceballos, indirectly referred to the painful defeats Atlético suffered against Real Madrid in the past.
