Confirmed line-up for Real Madrid against Espanyol with the addition of Vinícius

Real Madrid already has the eleven players ready who will start to stay at the top of the table.

Today at 9:00 p.m., Spanish time, Real Madrid plays a new La Liga match against Espanyol. Carletto's team wants to stay at the top of the standings with the maximum possible points.

Now, Ancelotti has already made Real Madrid's starting eleven official.

Real Madrid's starting eleven for this match

These are the eleven players who will start the match today: Courtois; Lucas, Tchouaméni, Rüdiger, Fran García; Ceballos, Valverde, Bellingham; Rodrygo, Vinícius, and Mbappé.

As we can see, Vinícius returns to the starting line-up after serving the suspension for the red card he received in Valencia.

Ancelotti said this yesterday in the pre-match press conference

The team's coach commented this yesterday:

"I expect a tough match. It's an important moment in the League for all teams."

"We're still quite far from the final stretch, but the points at stake are starting to be more important than in the early matches. We have an advantage at this moment and we want to maintain it."

He also added:

"Each match can determine the season. If you lose a League match or get eliminated in the Copa del Rey, it affects the season. But we only think about the matches we have to play, which are many, I repeat, too many."

"Until the March break, there are 13 matches. That's a lot, and we have to think that each match can be vital."

"From today, they start to be vital. Each match we play a lot of the season."

He talked about the current state of the team:

"I didn't say I wanted to reach January alive, I said I wanted to eat nougat in December. We've eaten the nougat."

"The team is better compared to December because we've had a very good streak. In the last 14 matches, we've won 12. That's very good, and we want to continue."

"We're in a good moment and in a good dynamic but each match."

"That's what we don't want to do, we want to keep moving forward. We're scoring more goals and the team seems more solid, but we have to keep in mind that each match can be a trap."
