Cristóbal Soria's reaction to Xabi Alonso's Madrid debut: 'Let him come back...

The panelist from 'El Chiringuito' took advantage of Real Madrid's draw to make his usual jokes

Real Madrid started the Club World Cup with a 1-1 draw against Al-Hilal from the Saudi Pro League. The white team, which didn't play a good first half, took the lead with a great goal from Gonzalo after a previous pass from Rodrygo Goes. The forward from La Fábrica replaced Kylian Mbappé, who couldn't play the match due to a fever.

However, Al-Hilal took advantage of a mistake by Raúl Asencio to score from the penalty spot thanks to Rúben Neves. The Portuguese player leveled a score that didn't change for the rest of the match.

Fede Valverde could've given Xabi Alonso his first victory as Real Madrid's coach, but he was stopped by Bono's hands.

Cristóbal Soria's "joke" after the draw

Cristóbal Soria, already known for his jokes about Real Madrid on "El Chiringuito," posted a tweet dedicated to the white club. "Let Ancelotti come back, please...," the Andalusian commented with laughter.

Madridists, who already know what he's like, didn't play along. Meanwhile, Cristóbal Soria took the opportunity to mock Xabi Alonso's project in the Basque coach's first match. In fact, the coach could shut him up in less than a month with the Club World Cup title.

Time to move forward...

Real Madrid will start preparing for Sunday's match against Pachuca from Mexico, which plays tonight against RB Salzburg. The white squad will travel to Charlotte to face a club they already defeated this season in the Intercontinental Cup final by three goals to nil. An opponent that will make things difficult, but is considerably inferior to the whites.

After that match, Madrid will face Salzburg from Austria in what will be the final match of Group H. The white club will have to win its two remaining matches to advance as group leader and not complicate the knockout rounds any further. It's time to focus on the next match and keep getting players who have a lot of potential ready.
