The Barça journalist who regrets Huijsen's signing by Madrid: 'He has Barça DNA'

Attacks Real Madrid over Huijsen, although he regrets that Barça has not been able to sign him

We already know that anti-Madridists usually criticize Real Madrid without being objective. We're seeing it with Franco Mastantuono, whom they're already pointing out without having seen him play. However, it's even harder for them with Huijsen and the great level he's showing.

This has been shown by a Barça journalist like David Sánchez, who told Rubén Martín about it. "I think he's a defender with Barça DNA," he began by saying. He claims that Real Madrid didn't like center-backs with good ball skills.

For him, strong and physical profiles were the ones Madridists liked. He kept insisting that he has "more Barça DNA than Madrid", certainly some very striking statements. Especially because they're trying to say from Barcelona what kind of players the Whites like.

Despite all this, he seems to have a certain envy and regrets Huijsen's signing by Real Madrid. "I still think it's a tremendous signing", he ended up admitting in light of the obvious. The performance the young Spanish center-back has already shown proves the great success of the Madridists.

However, he couldn't stop there, and David Sánchez had a couple of criticisms for Real Madrid regarding Huijsen. The first was predicting what could happen in the coming months with the center-back. "When this type of player makes a mistake, it can cost you a goal, a disappointment, and sometimes the match," he pointed out.

He went even further, as he had no qualms about stating that "he's going to mess up several times." He seems to want to predispose Madridists to go after him at the slightest mistake. That wasn't all, because he also questioned Juni Calafat's way of signing players.

"If he doesn't debut with the national team, Madrid don't sign him," he said, claiming they didn't have him on their radar. Even though the White team tried to sign him years ago when he was in Málaga's youth academy. Barça hasn't even tried to approach him this time.
