Dani Ceballos speaks out about his future and Florentino takes note, transfer seems inevitable

The Andalusian footballer is in Seville on vacation and has allowed himself to be courted by the team of his heart, Real Betis

Dani Ceballos has broken his silence. The Real Madrid midfielder has spoken clearly about his future. Everything suggests that his departure from the club is imminent.

The Utrera native, on vacation after the Club World Cup, was approached at the Santa Justa station in Seville. There, he made a direct statement: "Betis is my home and it always will be. I hope its door is always open", he said.

A key summer for his career

Ceballos acknowledged that he is experiencing a decisive summer for his professional career. His role at Madrid has been minimal, and his participation in the Club World Cup has been nonexistent.

"After a very long season, it's time to disconnect. In the coming days, I will talk about my future", he added.

He also confessed that there haven't been any meetings with Betis yet, but that he is open to all possibilities.

The midfielder is looking for playing time, continuity, and to feel important. Something that, as of today, seems difficult in Xabi Alonso's project.

Betis dreams, but doesn't see it as easy

In Heliopolis, they view his return favorably. But the club's financial situation is not simple.

Ángel Haro, Betis's president, made it clear recently on Cadena Cope: "Dani had his moment to come. Right now, it's very complicated to take on a transfer like this".

The verdiblanco club has other priorities, and the operation would only be possible if the player arrives on loan or significantly lowers his salary.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are already studying options. Ceballos has a contract until 2027, but the club won't put up obstacles if a reasonable offer appears.

Florentino Pérez is taking note of the situation. At Madrid, they know that Dani's cycle has come to an end and although his departure won't be a bomb, it is considered a necessary clean-up of the squad.

Ceballos wants to play and if it's at Betis, even better. But the market rules and everything suggests that his future will be solved in a matter of weeks.
