The staggering offer Real Madrid has rejected for Nico Paz

Officially, Nico Paz is a player who has belonged to Como since last season. However, Real Madrid still keeps 50 percent of his rights. This is why they still have significant influence in the decision-making regarding what will happen with his future.

We have seen it with Tottenham, which has made a strong bid this summer to secure his signing. In fact, the staggering offer they made for him to achieve this has been revealed. 70 million was how far they were willing to go to secure his services.

But Real Madrid has intervened to prevent him from ending up leaving for Como this summer. Although  the 70 "kilos" was a huge amount to consider, they have managed to prevent his departure. This way, he will remain in Serie A, something that has been widely celebrated by Madridists.

As we said, they have played a very important role in making sure that offer from Tottenham was not accepted.  Barring a major surprise, Como will keep its star player and celebrated it in a big way, with a goal and an assist in its latest Serie A victory next weekend.

Real Madrid has a clear plan with Nico Paz

During this summer, there was speculation about Nico Paz's return, something that was considered in the offices. However, at Real Madrid, they were in favor of him staying one more season at Como. They believed it would be good for him to keep gaining experience at the highest level.

But all of this with a view to being able to bring him back next summer, something they are already considering. If he keeps performing this season as he has so far, they will undoubtedly take it into account. Especially because they will have it very easy to secure his services.

In addition to keeping half of his rights,  they have a buy-back clause with Como. So the idea is to activate it so he can arrive for the 2026–2027 season. He will also do so with a lot of experience, and they trust he will be important.
