Eduardo Inda explains why he hasn't signed with Real Madrid yet: 'There's a way...'

Eduardo Inda doesn't beat around the bush and is clear about why Carreras has not signed for Real Madrid yet

The matter of Real Madrid's signings has been a real mess in some aspects, even though they've managed to bring in major reinforcements like Huijsen and Arnold. However, the one that's causing the most problems, and quite obviously, is Álvaro Carreras from Benfica. Meanwhile, the Spanish player wants to join Real Madrid, as Eduardo Inda reports on El Chiringuito, but there are details.

The journalist makes it clear that the player's desire is explicit and that there's no doubt he'll end up joining the Merengue club once again. However, the problem is quite clear and he puts it on the table in the famous show. "Real Madrid, as it does in all its deals, wants to spread out the payment over several years, while Benfica wants it all at once."

It's not a small amount, since they're talking about €50 million that the Whites would have to pay in a single payment. For this reason, the board hasn't been able to finalize his signing before the Club World Cup and it seems there's some mess in this regard.

He will arrive, but it's complicated

Eduardo Inda is clear about the player's desire and, moreover, the footballer himself has shown himself to be extremely upset with his club's attitude toward the Whites. "That's where the kid's anger comes from, he wants to come and he's going to play for Real Madrid. That's why he's been tempted to declare himself in rebellion."

Although he hasn't had to go to that extreme and, in fact, he played the club's first match in the Club World Cup, nothing is ruled out yet. Although it seems he'll try to keep everything calm.

All in due time

This could have been a strategy by Benfica to avoid facing the Club World Cup without one of its main stars. Meanwhile, maybe once the tournament in the United States is over, things will change in favor of the Merengues.

In any case, the Spaniard at this stage can no longer join Madrid unless it's at the end of the tournament in America.
