The last few hours have been very important for the future of Spanish referees. The Technical Committee of Referees gathered the referees of First and Second Division last Monday to address the events of the previous weekend.
Medina Cantalejo, president of the CTA, didn't hide his discontent over the incidents that occurred in both categories. The leader took the opportunity to convey a clear and energetic message, urging referees to maintain greater discipline in their work.

Eduardo Inda reveals the relationship between Medina Cantalejo and Enríquez Negreira
Eduardo Inda appeared on 'El Chiringuito de Jugones' to talk about the relationship between Medina Cantalejo and Enríquez Negreira. The renowned journalist revealed some of the most hidden secrets of the 'cortijo' that currently governs.
As reported by Eduardo Inda, the current influential Sevillian referee spent many years working under the orders of Enríquez Negreira. Medina Cantalejo served as his assistant and acted as his informant for what was the now-defunct Segunda División B.
"Negreira is more alive than ever. Spanish football is still refereed by Negreira. The head of the referees, Medina Cantalejo, was Negreira's right-hand man", explained Eduardo Inda.
"Clos Gómez, head of VAR, was Negreira's favorite referee. The nine referees, who either paid Negreira's son well or were escorted by him when they went to Camp Nou", the journalist recounted.
"Negreira is still in charge. That's why what happened to Real Madrid the other day happens. A referee can have a glaring error, which is the foul or the goal, but when you have such big blunders", concluded Eduardo Inda.
