Xabi Alonso's endless list of signings: many new faces in 2025-26

The Basque is a strong supporter of the youth academy and, unlike Ancelotti, he wants to give them more opportunities. In fact, whenever he needs someone due to suspension or injury, he won't experiment. Instead of converting players, he will turn to La Fábrica for any specific position.

This is the idea of a coach who has already been through the Madrid youth academy and knows the talent it has. That's why, once the transfer window closes, he will look to Castilla and Real Madrid C. He could even take some of them during preseason to start seeing the quality they have.
