Fabrizio Romano 'Accidentally' confirms Mastantuono's signing by Real Madrid

Real Madrid already seems to have secured Franco Mastantuono's signing for next season. Negotiations with River Plate have reportedly been satisfactory for Los Merengues. However, so far, neither team has made the Argentine's transfer to the white squad official.

However, Fabrizio Romano may have "accidentally confirmed" Mastantuono's signing for Real Madrid. It happened in a post the footballer made on his Instagram. In it, he shared a photo with Argentina's senior team on the day of his debut, at 17 years old.

He also included a message in which he wanted to thank everyone who made it possible. "Unforgettable day, nothing more beautiful than playing with our country's jersey! Thanks to everyone who made it possible and to my teammates for letting me be part of it," he wrote.

Fabrizio Romano surprised everyone with a comment on that Franco Mastantuono post. The transfer-specialized journalist posted two wide-eyed emojis. Many have interpreted this as confirmation of his arrival at Real Madrid.

Next week his signing could become official

For now, there is no confirmation about Mastantuono's transfer from River to Real Madrid. Although everything seems to indicate that they have already closed the deal for the operation to take place. During the next week, his arrival at the white squad could become official through the usual statement.

Some sources indicate that he will undergo a medical examination and that the official announcement will be made. This should happen as soon as possible if Real Madrid want to have him in the Club World Cup. The fact is that on the 10th, the registration window opened by FIFA for this tournament closes.

Real Madrid wanted to bring him in right away, but River, who will also be in the tournament, wanted to keep him. In the end, the fact that Los Merengues will pay the 45 million seems to be decisive.
