Fede Valverde's Reaction to Lucas Vázquez's Substitution, Very Angry with Ancelotti

This  has meant that Fede Valverde has to play as a right-back. This is something that the Uruguayan Real Madrid player hasn't liked.

Fede Valverde hasn't understood Ancelotti's decision at the end of the match to return to the right-back position for Lucas. Something that might take a toll in the final minutes of the team by losing a vital player in the midfield.

Returns to Right-Back for Lucas

Valverde has been characterized by being a highly versatile player for this Real Madrid squad over the years. However, it is well known that the Uruguayan doesn't enjoy playing in positions outside the midfield, as is normal for such a player.

While Ancelotti takes advantage of him in different positions, the reality is that these decisions aren't something he likes, and it's very evident. In this exit of Lucas from the field, he expected to continue in the pivot sector, but it wasn't so.

Clearly, his gesture of displeasure at the technical decision expresses his discontent with this stance of the coach, and it doesn't seem like this will change anything. However, it might be, for the future, a factor that Ancelotti himself takes into account.
