FIFA President Meets with Trump and Talks About Real Madrid: 'They Are...'

President Infantino makes it clear to Trump what's coming with the Club World Cup and Real Madrid

Politics and soccer are two completely different topics that often end up coming together in a somewhat strange way. While this is not such a strict case, there have been two figures who have met for a special event. In this case, it has been the FIFA president, Infantino, with the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

What has drawn attention is that Infantino has given the possible candidate to win the Club World Cup, and it is Real Madrid. From his point of view, the Merengues are always there to compete for any of the cups placed in front of them. In addition to this, he has made a very curious comparison of the Merengues comparing them to a "multinational": "They are like multinationals because they have players of all nationalities".

This, of course, further elevates the figure of Real Madrid, which will continue fighting to be the best. However, there are several clubs that will take it as an offense, as anti-Madridism can be stronger for them.

Is the Great Favorite

This season for Real Madrid has been somewhat complicated due to the adaptation to having new players and the departure of Toni Kroos. However, they have managed to recover much of it, still being alive in all competitions.

At the end of the campaign comes what would be the first edition of a new Club World Cup, very interesting to watch. Here, Real Madrid has everything necessary to become the first champion of this prestigious tournament.

The opinion of the FIFA president, while not absolute, is interesting and, above all, relevant for the players and the club. However, they can't be overconfident in what will be a highly contested tournament with great rivals in between.

They Must Believe It

There is no doubt that the white team has to start believing in what is a novel tournament and their chances of winning. Something that surely the management wants to happen and that they will fight until the end to achieve.
