Flick Sends a Message to Ancelotti Before the Cup Final: 'Real Madrid...'

Flick Defends Ancelotti

That victory by the Catalans has allowed Hansi Flick's team to prepare for the Copa del Rey final with calm and with an extra day of rest.

This explains why in the press conference Hansi Flick appeared more relaxed and even had words of support for Carlo Ancelotti.

"Real Madrid has an unbelievable team and, moreover, one of the best coaches in the world. For me, it's not nice what's happening, because he has won everything that can be won at any club. Carlo is a true gentleman, a knight, and I have all the respect in the world for him. That's how it is for me and that's how I say it," the German strategist stated.

However, these were not his only words, as Flick continued to focus on the Copa del Rey final.

"This Saturday we will play the final against Real Madrid and against Carlo, and for me, it will be a pleasure to see him again, because he is an unbelievable, fantastic coach," added the German.

Ancelotti Has It Clear

Beyond these words and, as was expected, they are spreading like wildfire, Ancelotti doesn't want to know anything about the future.

"In soccer, anything is possible. I'm not surprised by anything at all, so anything can happen. I don't have any revenge against anyone or anything. I love this bench. I loved the first stage and I'm loving this second one. I would like this to continue as far as possible. If one day it ends, I will be grateful and tip my hat to this club, nothing more," the Italian coach explained in a press conference before facing Getafe.
