Florentino defines Nico Paz's future this summer, they want to sign him, but there's a catch
The Argentine footballer has received an offer from Tottenham, but everything indicates that he will stay in Italy
Although Real Madrid has already informed Nico Paz that it wouldn't bet on him this summer, the saga with the Argentine is more alive than ever. In recent days, Tottenham, a Premier League team, has reportedly made an offer of around €40 million for the footballer raised at La Fábrica. Despite everything, Como has shown reluctance, and they also didn't have the white club's permission to complete the transfer.
The truth is that under Cesc Fàbregas's orders, Nico Paz has found his best version on the field. He didn't need many days to earn the Spanish coach's trust, and he soon secured a spot in Como's starting eleven. He played a total of 35 matches in his first season in Serie A, in which he scored 6 goals and provided 9 assists.

Tottenham, awaiting Nico Paz's future
As "Defensa Central" already reported, Tottenham has Nico Paz on its list of favorite players to replace James Maddison. The footballer for the "Spurs" was injured during preseason and will miss almost the entire 25/26 season. For this reason, the Argentine has started to be mentioned in England, although Como has reportedly rejected the first proposal.
Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio stated that the "Spurs" had made an offer of €40 million, which was immediately rejected by Como as they considered it insufficient. The Italian side believes the Argentine footballer has a higher value and has reportedly set his price at €70 million. In addition, the Italian team needs approval from Real Madrid, which still holds a large part of the rights.
What will Real Madrid do?
For now, the only clear thing is that Real Madrid hasn't included Nico Paz for next season because they can't promise him all the minutes he wants. However, the Madrid club keeps a buy option that allows it to acquire the player at a very affordable price.

Within Real Madrid, they support him staying one more season at Como. Meanwhile, at the Italian club, for now, there are no plans to part with a diamond in the rough like Nico Paz.
