Florentino gives the OK, his move to Italian football almost closed after the 'No' to Atleti
Miguel Gutiérrez is Juventus's chosen one to cover Cambiasso's possible departure, thus ruling out Atlético
Miguel Gutiérrez is very close to leaving Girona. The Spanish left-back, formerly of Real Madrid, is heading to Serie A. Juventus has put his name on the table as a possible replacement for Andrea Cambiaso.
The Italian club is seriously considering his signing. The possible sale of Cambiaso this summer has activated plan B. That plan is named Miguel Gutiérrez.
From Real Madrid's management, they have already given the green light to the operation. Florentino Pérez will not oppose his departure, and a return to Bernabéu is ruled out. The club keeps a percentage of a future sale, but will not exercise the buyback.
Miguel Gutiérrez closes the door on Atlético
The Madrid player has been clear. If he leaves Girona, his destination will not be Atlético Madrid. “I'm going to another club, not Atlético,” he reportedly said in private.

The commitment to Girona remains firm. Miguel has performed at a high level in Montilivi and feels valued. His refusal to the red-and-white team is also interpreted as a show of loyalty to Real Madrid.
Despite not having real options to return to the white club, Miguel keeps his bond with the entity alive. His Madridism has not faded.
Juventus wants him as a priority
In Turin, they see him as a safe bet. At only 22 years old, he has experience in La Liga and the Champions League, showing a broad potential for growth. Additionally, they like his offensive profile and his good decision-making in the final third.
Juventus's interest has accelerated the contacts. The agreement could be finalized in the coming weeks if Cambiaso's departure is confirmed.

Carlo Ancelotti did not request his return. He also hasn't considered him in his plans during his second stint as coach. Therefore, Real Madrid will not put up obstacles.
Miguel Gutiérrez's future now seems more linked to Italian soccer. It remains to be seen if Xabi Alonso, possible Madrid coach in 2025, would have thought differently. But by then, the Madrid player could already be succeeding with the Vecchia Signora.
