Tomás Roncero reveals Real Madrid's ace up their sleeve for Sunday's clásico
The journalist believes Madrid has everything to gain and Barça a lot to lose, and that could cost them dearly
Sunday's Clásico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will mark the fourth meeting of the season between these two giants of Spanish soccer.
Although the culés have emerged victorious in the three previous matches—Supercopa, Copa del Rey, and La Liga—Tomás Roncero believes that this time everything can change.
The journalist spoke on El Bar de la Cadena SER and sent a clear message: Real Madrid comes to the match with less pressure than Barça. "We have nothing to lose," he stated.
"They do. Madrid can play freely, without the emotional burden of having failed in Europe," he pointed out.
The elimination of Barça at the hands of Inter Milan in the Champions League this Tuesday has left a mark. Roncero considers that the European blow has been so strong that it could take its toll next weekend.

"They are mentally affected. The treble was already an obsession and it vanished in Milan. Now they play with the fear of losing everything," he explained.
Currently, Barça leads La Liga with 79 points. Madrid is only four behind. A white victory at the Bernabéu would leave them just one point behind, with all the pressure shifting sides.
"We had them against the ropes"
Roncero, convinced that the whites have real chances, recalled what happened in the last Clásico: "In the second half, we had them against the ropes. A mistake on our part gave them life. Otherwise, they were out," he noted.
"That isn't forgotten in a week. Now they face us again with doubts."
According to the journalist, Ancelotti's team can take advantage of that emotional downturn: "They will come out with soul. For many, this season was over. But if they win on Sunday, everything starts again."

Without pressure, with the excitement intact
Additionally, Roncero assures that this match is a unique opportunity: "If we win, it could be the beginning of something great. If not, nothing will happen either. That calm is a very powerful weapon."
Finally, he took a jab at the culés: "Barça lives in self-deception. They celebrated the treble too early. Now they face a Real Madrid that isn't afraid of anything."
Will that ace up the sleeve be enough to change history this season? We'll find out on Sunday.
