Florentino is sure about it, Madrid's plan for this summer includes more signings

The president and the coach want to maintain the squad's competitive level. There will be signings if departures occur

Real Madrid hasn't finished in the market. Although the key pieces are already secured, Florentino Pérez and the sporting management know there could still be important moves in the coming weeks.

The club has worked with foresight. The foundation of the project is built, but there's room to act if unexpected departures occur.

Departures will set the pace

From Valdebebas, they're aware that some players have real chances of leaving. Among the most talked-about names are Rodrygo Goes, Dani Ceballos, and Endrick.

Rodrygo is being approached by Premier League teams. Ceballos, with few minutes, is looking for a way out. Endrick, who's suffered a relapse of his injury, could go out on loan to gain experience.

In that scenario, Madrid already has its roadmap clear. If any of them leave, there will be an immediate signing.

Five signings secured

So far, the club has secured five additions. The most important, without a doubt, has been Xabi Alonso as the new coach. A change of era that shapes the future of the locker room.

At the squad level, very promising names have arrived. Trent Alexander-Arnold strengthens the right back, Álvaro Carreras does so on the left, Dean Huijsen arrives to bolster the central defense, and the young Mastantuono comes as a bet for both the present and future in the attacking area.

These are strategic signings. Planned for the long term. But also useful right away.

Ready to respond

Real Madrid isn't in a hurry, but it won't stand still either. If any of the players with chances to leave pack their bags, the replacement operation will be activated immediately.

Florentino is clear about it. The goal is to keep competitiveness in all areas, without compromising the long-term project. That's why the club already has several options under control in the market.

There is no shortage of names. But they won't make a move until there's space.

The summer could still bring surprises and at Bernabéu they're prepared for whatever comes. Florentino's plan includes more signings. Xabi Alonso's squad isn't closed yet.
