Florentino opens the door for him this summer: if he meets two conditions, he's out
The requirements a Real Madrid footballer must meet to finalize their departure after Florentino Pérez's authorization
After the signings Real Madrid have made, it's now time for departures. Excluding the players who left after their contracts ended, Real Madrid need to make sales. According to information from AS newspaper, Florentino Pérez has authorized Ceballos's departure if it's through a transfer and for a value of €15 to €20 million.
Real Madrid's president isn't at all interested in a loan for the midfielder. With the doors open, Real Betis has returned as the club most interested in signing Ceballos. However, Betis's intentions with this operation are quite different from those of Real Madrid.
The Verdiblanco side believe that signing Ceballos should cost €5 to €10 million. That's less than half of what Real Madrid are seeking for his departure. Moreover, given Ceballos's high salary, Betis would be much more interested in a loan for the player.
Dani Ceballos's options
Trained in Real Betis's youth academy, Dani Ceballos was signed by Real Madrid in 2017. As a young prospect, Ceballos managed to have standout performances but was never able to establish himself. This was one of the main reasons for his loan to Arsenal, where he performed at a very high level during the 2 seasons he played with the London club.

Although, upon his return to Real Madrid, Ceballos performed well enough to earn a contract extension until 2027, the player has lost prominence. Playing only 73 minutes (73 minutes) in the World Cup, without starting any match, Ceballos doesn't have Xabi's trust.
With several players ahead of him, his departure once again seems imminent. The main problem is Betis's intentions, which don't align with those of Real Madrid. If no agreement is reached, Ceballos would have to look for another destination.
Florentino Pérez's firm stance
At 28 years old, Dani Ceballos can still offer a few years at the highest level. With the desire to return to the national team for the 2026 World Cup, Ceballos needs minutes. That's something he'll only get if he leaves Real Madrid through a transfer.
