Florentino About to Finalize the Signing of the Bundesliga's Asencio

With Juni Calafat in their ranks, the Merengue team has always been successful with the signings of young talents.  Looking ahead to the next season, this seems to remain the same, with Calafat recommending the signing of a young Bundesliga star.

Konstantinos Koulierakis is the player who has ultimately captivated Juni Calafat. As part of VfL Wolfsburg, the Greek center-back is one of the revelations of this season in the Bundesliga. Despite his young age, the player has managed to demonstrate outstanding potential for future seasons. 

Faced with the need to strengthen the defense, Florentino Pérez has viewed this transfer favorably. Reminiscent of Raúl Asencio, Koulierakis could form a great and solid partnership alongside the Spaniard. 

The Center-Back the Team Needs

In his first season with Wolfsburg, Koulierakis has quickly established himself at the club.  The 2,324 minutes (2.324 minutos) he has played this season are a testament to how quickly he has adapted to the Bundesliga. Standing out for his defensive solidity and aerial play, the Greek has the level for a higher-quality club. 

At just 21 years old, Real Madrid has seen in Koulierakis the perfect center-back to renew their defense for the next season.  His value of 40 million euros has also been shown to be affordable for a team that has a clear intention to sign him. 

However, AC Milan and Liverpool are also closely monitoring the progress of the talented Greek center-back.  Aware that they will have to fight for his signing, Madrid could begin to take the first steps to ensure the success of this move.
